Advanced Certificate in Technology (Engineering)

The Advanced Certificate in Technology Programme is a new programme introduced recently. This qualification is expected to open an avenue for entry-level technical grades within the Engineering profession. Advanced Certificate in Technology will be awarded by the Mechanical Department, with a specialisation in one of the following areas:

•  Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Technology
•  Advanced Certificate in Mechatronics Technology

Diploma in Technology (Engineering)

The Diploma in Technology Programme is one of the main avenues for entry to middle-level technical grades within the engineering profession. This programme is open to working students as well. Diploma in Technology will be awarded by the Mechanical Department with a specialisation in one of the following areas:

The Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) is designed carefully specifying, minimum and maximum limits for each category of courses, to ensure that the programme is balanced and that it meets the requirements of major Engineering Institutions, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. The Degree will be awarded by the Mechanical Department, with a specialisation in one of the following areas:
